Borrow a fishing rod at the library

WESTERN SULLIVAN COUNTY, NY — The Western Sullivan Public Library has fishing rods at each branch that can be borrowed by children between the ages of eight and 14. A fishing rod and small tackle box can be checked out at any one of the branches in Callicoon, Narrowsburg and Jeffersonville. Children will be provided with a brief pamphlet about fishing and a coupon for free bait from Tom’s Bait and Tackle Shop or Catskill-Delaware Outdoors. The rods were donated by the Kiwanis Club of Callicoon, Upper Delaware Chapter of Trout Unlmited and Tom’s Bait and Tackle Shop.
