Who goes there?

Wildlife conduct their daily activities all around us, often leaving evidence of their presence. One non-human resident of the Upper Delaware River region provides obvious clues for the observant among us. Though it moved too quickly for photographic capture, the mystery creature whose home is depicted in these photos can be discerned from the sign it creates.

Can you guess who lives in this dead tree? Perhaps our dedicated readers at Glen Spey’s Homestead School will know. Email your answer to sandylong@riverreporter.com. And remember: while you’re out and about, look high, look low, look everywhere you go. You will be amazed at the many wonders just waiting to be discovered.
