Quilts celebrate nature

LIVINGSTON MANOR, NY — This quilt by Susan Balch is one of many to be exhibited at Morgan Outdoors’ show “The Great Outdoors: Quilts Celebrating Nature,” with an opening reception from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 6.

On the final day of the show, Sunday, April 27, the public is invited to take part in a Trunk Show from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Each participant will have an opportunity to show off a quilt they’ve made or inherited to admire the workmanship or pick up techniques from the quilters present.

Morgan Outdoors is located at 46 Main Street. Hours are from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Sunday. For more information call 845/439 5507.
