Casting for Recovery

CLARYVILLE, NY — Casting for Recovery, a non-profit support and educational program for women who have or have had breast cancer, will hold two retreats this year at the Frost Valley YMCA. The first retreat will be held from Friday, May 30 through Sunday, June 1, with an application deadline of Friday, March 21; and from Friday, August 1 through Sunday, August 3, with an application deadline of Friday, May 23.

Casting for Recovery two-and-a-half-day retreats incorporate counseling and fly fishing to promote physical and mental healing. At least two health care professionals and four fly fishing instructors staff each retreat

Program costs are underwritten by contributions from individuals, companies and foundations, and online donations can also be made through the website castingforrecovery.org. Casting for Recovery is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization.
