Designers invited to flaunt their talents at Come to the Table

MONTICELLO, NY — The Sullivan County Dispute Resolution Center (DRC) will present its third annual Come to the Table starting on Friday, April 25 from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m., and local decorators and designers are invited to participate in designing original table settings for the event that show off their greatest creative flair. The table settings will then be auctioned off through silent bid, with proceeds benefiting the DRC. This year’s event co-chairs are Lori Malone (The River Reporter) and Lori Rubinstein-Fleck (RubyFlecks Creative Consulting).

Guests will have the first opportunity to view the tabletop designs and place their bids at a Preview Party held at The Frontier Insurance Building in Rock Hill, NY on April 25. There will also be hors d’oeuvres, wine, beer and musical entertainment. Tables will be judged by a select panel of judges with award presentations at evening’s conclusion.

On Saturday, April 26 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., the general public will be able to come view the tables and place bids at the Saturday Expo. A $5 entrance fee will treat attendees to “A Taste of Sullivan,” which includes several Home Entertaining workshops, and a special visit with the “Kings of the Kitchen.”

Sponsorship is available at several levels. Private or business participation and support, at any level, will help DRC to continue its mission to “promote the peaceful resolution of conflict…”
