Local talent takes to the stage

HORTONVILLE, NY — Agnes Tilson, left, and Valerie McShane perform a medley on spoons and bells at last year’s Hortonville Talent Show. This year, the show will come back for the 22nd year, led by master of ceremonies Richard Ross of The River Reporter, at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 8 at the Hortonville Presbyterian Church. The show is not a competition, but an opportunity for local performers with talents from the wacky to the sublime to show off their stuff to an appreciative audience, followed by refreshments and fellowship after the show. Judges awards special prizes for each participant. The suggested donation is $5 per individual, $10 per family, to benefit Habitat for Humanity.
