NYSPHSAA Alpine Ski Championships Egenes and Heins best of Section Nine at states LAKE PLACID, NY - Fallsburg/Tri-Valley’s Chris Egenes was the top Section Nine boys finisher at the NYSPHSAA Alpine Ski Championships at Lake Placid on February 29. He finished in 12th place. Monticello’s Haley Heins was Section Nine’s top girl finisher. She took 27th in the slalom and 32nd in the giant slalom.
