Liberty announces ‘Music in Our Schools’ performances

LIBERTY, NY — The Liberty Central School Music Department will present a number of performances throughout the month of March, which has been designated as “Music in our Schools” month in Sullivan County. All performances are open to the public. Performance dates are listed below.

Wednesday, March 5—Annual Pops Concert, high school auditorium, 7:00 p.m. Adults $4, students/senior citizens $3, family of four or more $15. Snow date Thursday, March 6. Benefits Liberty Central School music department.

Tuesday, March 18—Annual beginner’s recital, elementary school gym, 7:00 pm. Fourth-grade instrumental students perform.

Wednesday, March 19—Middle-school seventh- and eighth-grade band and jazz ensembles perform in Albany at the Empire State Plaza South Concourse, 1:00 pm. Free.

Thursday, March 20—“Music in Our Schools” assembly program, high school auditorium, 8:30 a.m. Free.
