Animal encounters of the amazing kind

MONTICELLO, NY — Bruce Lowder of Animal Encounters, LLC will bring “Amazing Animals” to the Children’s Room of the E.B. Crawford Public Library on Wednesday, February 27 at 6:30 p.m.

Lowder has more than 20 years experience as an environmental educator and is a licensed wildlife rehabilitator. Children will be able see and touch a variety of small mammals and reptiles and learn how these animals survive in the wild. The program is free and intended for children four years old and older. All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. This program is made possible by funds from the 2008 Decentralization Program, a recant program of the New York State Council of the Arts, administered locally by the Delaware Valley Arts Alliance.
