Rizzo rises at raceway

MONTICELLO, NY — Johnny Rizzo will take the stage at the Catch A Rising Star comedy club at Monticello Gaming & Raceway at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 22.

Rizzo, who regularly performs at major comedy clubs around the country, has also made a slew of recent TV appearances, including A&E’s Comedy on the Road, MTV, P.M. Magazine, Joan Lunden Show, Fox TV’s 30 Seconds to Fame and many others. He has also opened for the biggest names in entertainment, some of whom include Jay Leno, Richard Belzer, Joan Rivers, Dennis Miller and Henny Youngman.

Opening for Rizzo at Catch will be Brian Kiley. Besides performing as a guest on “The Tonight Show” with Jay Leno four times, “The Late Show” with David Letterman twice, and “Late Night with Conan O’Brien” 11 times, Kiley has been a staff writer for “Late Night with Conan O’Brien” since its inception in 1994 and has been nominated for seven Emmy awards.
