Upper Delaware Scenic Byway website accepting Route 97 photos

NARROWSBURG, NY — The Upper Delaware Scenic Byway, Inc. (UDSB) invites the public to contribute photos depicting New York State Route 97 scenes and its surroundings to its website gallery at upperdelawarescenicbyway.org.

Contemporary digital images of the highway route, as well as scanned postcards or historical photographs, are welcome for the on-line exhibit. Anyone interested in submitting a photo may click on the invitation box located on the UDSB home page or on the Gallery tab. Images should be in a JPEG format at a recommended resolution 72 dpi and 600 pixels wide by 400 pixels high. Photographers are asked to provide a title, location and a brief description of their photos, as well as their names for credit.

The UDSB website, created and maintained for the non-profit organization by W Design of Barryville, has experienced a sharp rise in traffic, 27,102 page requests in January 2008 alone. Interactive features include the ability to “Share the Byway” by sending a personalized e-postcard and to request delivery of a free UDSB travelogue brochure.
