Winter wildlife tracking at Lacawac Sanctuary

LAKE WALLENPAUPACK, PA — Local naturalist Jen Naugle will lead a one-and-a-half hour walk down a trail in the 520-acre Lacawac Sanctuary on Saturday, February 23 at 10:00 a.m. Along the way, she will point out and identify the tracks and signs of wildlife active this time of year. Tracks are more obvious in snow and mud, but a lack of these conditions does not make tracking impossible, only more challenging.

The cost of the program is $3 for Lacawac members and $5 for non-members. Children aged 12 and under are admitted free.

For information email educator@lacawac.org or call 570/689-9494.
