A Valentine from Debbie Majors

MONTICELLO, NY — Odyssey Records recording artist Debbie Majors will perform a special Valentine’s Day show at Monticello Gaming & Raceway on Thursday, February 14 at 7:00 p.m. in the Lava Lounge. The show will feature original songs from her latest album, “You Took Me In,” along with many adult contemporary favorites.

“Debbie has a great following here in the Hudson Valley,” said Lori Rothman, events coordinator at Monticello Gaming & Raceway. “We invite everyone to come out and enjoy a great show in an intimate setting on a very intimate night.”

Majors began her musical career in 1976 as the lead singer for the band Topaz. Majors next joined the band Streetalk, with whom she performed for 17 years on the club circuit throughout the Hudson Valley and the Northeast. During Majors’ 32-year musical career she has performed alongside such greats as Melissa Manchester, The Monkeys and Lou Rawls. Majors has released two albums, “You Took Me In” and “Thinking of You.”
