Kings on ice

KAUNEONGA LAKE, NY — The Sullivan County Conservation Club will present its 23rd annual King of the Ice Contest at Kauneonga Lake and White Lake from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 17. There will be up to $5000 in cash and prizes offered. There will be trophies for first, second and third in trout, pickerel, perch, crappie, walleye and panfish (panfish for kids only).

Pre-registration for the event, which is sponsored by Sports Nuts of Rock Hill, costs $15 for adults, $5 for kids aged 15 and under and is free for eight years old and under. Same-day registration is $20 for adults, $5 for kids 15 and under and free for eight years old and under.
