St. Andrew’s gets grant for another year of concerts

NARROWSBURG, NY — On February 2 at the Delaware Arts Center in Narrowsburg, the Town of Fallsburg received a grant of $1,420 for a free concert series that is an activity of St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in South Fallsburg. The funds originate from the New York State Council on the Arts regranting program and are administered by Delaware Valley Arts Alliance. It will be used to help pay musicians for concerts scheduled for Saturday, May 3 and Saturday, October 25 at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church at 5277 State Route 42.

The May concert, “Chamber Music for a Spring Evening,” will feature a trio of piano, viola and clarinet performing music by Mozart and Bach.

The October concert, “Flute Force,” will feature flutists performing music by composers including Stravinsky, Elizabeth Brown and Joseph Schwantner.
