Fire and ice at Fallsburg’s Winterfest

FALLSBURG, NY — Fallsburg’s Winterfest will be held on Sunday, February 10 from 12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m. at Morningside Park. Participants will be able to engage in winter sports like ice-fishing, broom hockey, ice golf and ice skating, then warm themselves around a bonfire. There will also be snowman building; visitors are encouraged to bring their own deorations. There will be free hot dogs and drinks, and group skate lessons with Olympic skater Amanda Ward.

Sign up at rink table for lessons at the following times: ages five through eight, 1:00 to 1:30 p.m.; ages nine through 12, 2:00 to 2:30 p.m.; ages 13 and up, 2:45 to 3:15 p.m. Sign up for broom hockey is at 1:00 p.m. for ages nine through 12 and 2:00 p.m. for ages 13 and up.
