A touch of the exotic in the heart of Honesdale

HONESDALE, PA — International performer Sabah will lead Middle Eastern dance classes from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. on Mondays at the Grace Episcopal Church Parish Hall at 827 Church Street.

These classes are most appropriate for women. Participants are encouraged to wear a leotard or stretchy shirt, a loose-fitting or wrap-around skirt and to bring a scarf and finger cymbals if they have them. They should wear ballet slippers or plan on dancing barefoot.

Sabah is the sole representative of Middle Eastern Dance for the World Music Institute and has performed as such at a myriad of national museums, colleges and concert halls. She performs regularly for important social functions amidst Middle Eastern royal families and has appeared as herself in several major Hollywood movies including “Once Around” with Richard Dreyfuss and Holly Hunter.
