Trio of films livens up winter at Morgan Outdoors

LIVINGSTON MANOR, NY —Morgan Outdoors will host the “Not Too Late To See Them” film festival at 46 Main Street, featuring three critically acclaimed films, on Saturday, January 19. The films screened will be “An Inconvenient Truth,” “Who Killed The Electric Car” and the PBS Cosmos episode “Heaven and Hell” with Carl Sagan. The festival is free and open to the public. Reservations are strongly suggested, as seating is limited.

“Who Killed the Electric Car” will be shown at 4:00 p.m. The film looks at the hopeful birth and untimely death of the EV1 electric car launched in 1996 by General Motors.

“Heaven and Hell” will be shown at 6:00 p.m. Carl Sagan’s award-winning episode gives a tour of solar system catastrophes and earth’s greenhouse effect consequences.

“An Inconvenient Truth,” Al Gore’s critically acclaimed documentary on global warming, will be shown at 7:30 p.m. Reservations are on a first-come, first-served basis. Seats aren’t padded, so it is recommended that audience members bring their own cushions. Water and snacks will be available.
