Cochecton’s re-organizational meeting

LAKE HUNTINGTON, NY — The Cochecton town board held its re-organizational meeting on January 2. Among the many matters discussed was the date, time and place of the 2008 regular town board meetings. They were set to be held at the Cochecton Town Hall, 116 County Route 116, in Lake Huntington on the second Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. for a one-half hour work session, and at 7:30 p.m. to conduct regular business.

During the meeting, the board recognized the services of four employees who left town service in 2007: Durward Powell, Kathleen Johnson, John MacDonald and Thomas Ritz, with certificates of appreciation, which were read by councilperson John Reggero.
