Vocal music for the holidays to resound at Grey Towers

MILFORD, PA — Kindred Spirits Arts Programs will present a holiday concert at Grey Towers at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 15, featuring soprano Melody Alesi and tenor David Katz.

Alesi, the daughter of two professional singers, is at home as a recitalist and on stage, having performed the roles of Magueritte in “Faust,” Gilda in “Rigoletto,” Mimi in “La Boheme” and Micaela in “Carmen.” Tenor David Katz has performed in musicals, light opera and opera, singing the roles of Rodolfo in “La Boheme,” Alfredo in “La Traviata” and the Duke in “Rigoletto.” The concert will feature selections by Mozart, Donizetti, Puccini, Lehar and Verdi, plus popular songs and traditional carols.

The concert is sponsored by Barbara Buchanan, Marvin and Frances Gould Naftal and Orange and Rockland Utilities, Inc. Seating is limited. Tickets cost $20 and can be purchased at Forest Hall Antiques, 214 Broad Street, Milford or by calling 570/296-4299.
