Students sing at government center
MONTICELLO, NY The Sullivan County Government Center at 100 North Street in Monticello will host a concert presented by the Tri Valley Fifth and Sixth Grade Chorus, conducted by Lori Orestano James, from 12:00 noon to 12:30 p.m. in the lobby.
Craft sale at the government center
MONTICELLO, NY The Retired Senior Volunteer Program Advisory Committee will hold its annual sale of handmade crafts on from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm in the lobby of the Sullivan County Government Center. Proceeds benefit the Retired Senior Volunteer Program so it may continue to support the Federation for the Homeless, Teen Parent programs, Skilled Nursing Facility and other community service agencies.
Tusten Youth dance
NARROWSBURG, NY A dance for Tusten youth in grades 7 through 12 will be held at the Town of Tusten Town Hall in Narrowsburg on Friday, December 14 from 7:00 until 10:00 p.m. There will be refreshments and a DJ, and the dance is sponsored by the Tusten Youth Commission. 845/252-6852.

Dickenss Christmas in Hancock
HANCOCK, NY Hancocks East Front Street will be the site of its first ever Dickenss Christmas from 2:00 to 10:00 p.m. Festivities will include open houses and eggnog. The Hancock Partners Inc. will kick off the festivities with an open house from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at DAB/Neighbors Insurance at 85 East Front Street. The Little Victory Players will cap off the day with a modern adaptation of Inspecting Carol, a modern twist on Dickens classic A Christmas Carol, at 7:30 p.m. at the Old Capitol Theatre. Breakfast with Santa at Old Stone House
HASBROUCK, NY The Old Stone House at 82 Hasbrouck Road hosts a breakfast with Santa with two seatings, one at 8:30 a.m. and a second at 10:00 a.m. Children can talk to Santa, hear holiday stories and engage in craft projects. Toys for Tots party
NARROWSBURG, NY The Marine Corps League Wayne-Pike Detachment and Catskill Detachment will hold a Toys for Tots party at 7:00 p.m. at the Narrowsburg Inn. The cost of admission is one new, unwrapped toy, part of the Marine Corps Leagues annual drive to help children of less fortunate families. There will be music by Kevin Campion, refreshments, coffee and dessert.
Open House and caroling
MILFORD, PA Safe Haven will host a Gift of Giving open house from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. with hot cocoa, cookies and an opportunity to select ornaments from their Gift of Giving Tree with the names of needy children to whom gifts and food baskets may be given. The open house will be followed by an hour of Christmas caroling through the village of Milford.
Breakfast with Mr. and Mrs. Claus
MILFORD, PA The Pike County Area Agency On Aging holds Breakfast with Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus, including an opportunity for photographs with the couple, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon (or until the food runs out) at the Pike County Complex, 150 Pike County Boulevard off Route 739. The cost is $6 for adults, $3 for children.
Holiday Vocal Concert at Grey Towers
MILFORD, PA Kindred Spirits Arts Programs will present a holiday concert at Grey Towers at 5:30 p.m. featuring two rising stars, Melody Alesi, soprano, and David Katz, tenor. Holiday show and sing-along
CALLICOON, NY The Callicoon Business Association and Maureen Neville will present a holiday show at Harmonie Hall in the Western Hotel at 9:00 p.m. The featured artists will include Kathy Geary, Annie Hat, Kazzrie Jaxen, Mark Magill and Mike and Maggie OBrien with the Childrens Chorus. Mike OBrien will also be performing with his band, which includes David Dann and Alex Duke. Tickets cost $10. Christmas cookies will be provided, and there will be a holiday sing-along immediately following the performance.

Holiday dance to benefit childrens bureau
HONESDALE, PA The Honesdale Dance Studio, led by Joann Florance, will present its fourth annual Gift of Dance, performed to holiday music, at 1:00 p.m. at the Honesdale High School Auditorium. There is no admission fee, but monetary donations will be accepted at the door to benefit the Wayne County Childrens Christmas Bureau. Ornament hunt in the park
HONESDALE, PA Honesdales 13th annual Ornament Hunt will take place at 11:00 a.m. in Central Park. The event, sponsored by the Greater Honesdale Partnership as part of its Honesdale for the Holidays, will offer young children the chance to scramble for ornaments and win a prize.
Children will be divided into three age groups: kindergarten and younger, first and second graders and third and fourth graders. Prizes for the hunt are donated by greater Honesdale area businesses. 570/253-5492.

$5K Raffle Drawing and 2007 Angels for McAuley Celebration
PORT JERVIS, NY The Angels for McAuley celebration at Bon Secours Community Hospital will feature the choral sounds of ASK Elementary School and the Delaware Valley Elementary School, cookie decorating, visits with Santa and the drawing of the winner of the $5,000 raffle.
