PA Ag Secretary imposes milk-labeling ban
Governor Rendell asks for a delay

HARRISBURG, PA - Consumers want it, but Secretary of Agriculture Dennis Wolff doesnt.
On October 24, Wolff released a state prohibition on labeling milk cartons with the statement: Hormone Free. Pennsylvania is the only state where milk containers cannot contain this statement. The prohibition started a flurry of protests from consumer groups, dairy co-ops and dairy farmers.

New and innovative technology or a lawsuit waiting to happen?

LOCH SHELDRAKE, NYIts creators say it will revolutionize the wind industry while helping to reduce greenhouse gases and global warming. A critic says its untested, untried and, as an unknown bit of technology, its parts may separate, resulting in flying objects crashing in unpredictable directions.
They are both talking about a vertical-style windmill, manufactured by a Japanese company called Environmental Technologies LLC (ETLLC).

Concerned citizen accuses Damascus supervisors of negligence

DAMASCUS, PA - Rolf Beck has had it in for Damascus supervisor Bill Gager for a long while now.
He has accused the Damascus road master of improper procedures in the bidding process at least once before and now he is doing it again. But this time, he is aiming his accusations at all three supervisors - Gager, Arthur Jim Freiermuth and Jeff Dexter- and adding the voices of other concerned citizens.
However, Beck refuses to identify who the concerned citizens are.
