Crafts for Christmas

LIBERTY, NY — Local artists offer a tempting assortment of unique and beautiful gifts for family, friends or self at the annual holiday show at the Catskill Artists Gallery, 38 South Main Street.

A festive reception on Saturday, December 1, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. kicks off the seasonal show. The gallery is open on Friday and Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Sunday from 12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m.

Visitors can browse through hand-painted silk scarves, woodcrafted tables, game boards, waterproof wooden vases, exquisite glass bowls, plates and a glass fountain. One of the largest collections in the area of handmade jewelry, from delicate silver and glass to bold ethnic designs, will be offered, as well as glass wind chimes, paintings, fabric wall hangings, photographs and limited edition prints and much more. Gift certificates are always available.

Members of the gallery are Robert Friedman, Cate Gundlah, Kathy Jeffers, Buff McAllister, Greg Miller and Hank Schneider. The gallery also represents over 30 other consignment artists.
