‘Anne of Green Gables’ to be performed at Sullivan West

LAKE HUNTINGTON, NY — Lucy Maud Montgomery’s “Anne of Green Gables” will come to the Sullivan West High School auditorium on Friday, November 30, and Saturday, December 1, at 7:00 p.m. There will also be a matinee performance on Sunday, December 2 at 1:00 pm. Tickets cost $5 for all seats.

The family classic tells the story of a freckle-faced, red-haired orphan named Anne Shirley. With her fiery temper, love of melodrama and penchant for misadventures, she brings laughter and love to Green Gables. In return, Anne finds the happiness and the home she has always longed for.

The cast of characters includes Nicole Daley as Anne Shirley, Randall Grimm as Matthew Cuthbert, Mackenzie Roeder as Marilla Cuthbert, Grace O’Connor as Diana Barry and Richard Smith as Gilbert Blythe.

The production is directed by Russ Johansen with student director, senior Mackenzie Roeder.
