Early snow over Little Lake Erie

NARROWSBURG, NY — Despite a long, warm autumn, winter has come unusually early to our area with two snow events, the first on Saturday, November 10 and the second on Monday, November 19. Here, Narrowsburg Feed, The River Reporter building and several houses may be seen in the early-season snow over Little Lake Erie. According to naturalist Ed Wesely, the snow totals measured 1 inch on November 10 and 4.5 inches on November 19 in Milanville, PA. Higher elevations experienced as much as 9 inches in Monday’s snow.
