Red Eft unwraps some treasures

WURTSBORO, NY—The Red Eft Gallery will present its Winter 2007 exhibit, “Unwrapped Treasures” from November 17 through January 6, 2008, with an artists’ opening reception on Saturday, November 17 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

“Unwrapped Treasures” includes watercolor, oil, pastel and acrylic paintings, mixed medium prints, monotype, sculpture, drawings and photography from the studios of the very talented Michael Gold, Jules Perlmutter, Judy Sigunick, Janice Mauro, Cynthia Hall, J.E. Capriano, Phil Sigunick, Marie Liu, Brian Shapiro, Jerry Cohen, Roberta Rosenthal, Cynthia Harris-Pagano, Linda Bayer Domanoski, Linda Barboni and William Rivelli. The Red Eft Gallery is open on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Tusten Theatre to resound with home-grown music

NARROWSBURG, NY—The Delaware Valley Chamber Orchestra will perform “Music of Our Time,” compositions by six local musicians, at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 17 at the Tusten Theatre at 210 Bridge Street.

Some ‘Enchanted’ evening

Screening of new Disney film to help support Red Cross

CALLICOON, NEW YORK—“Enchanted Lives” is the theme for the Callicoon Theater’s special benefit screenings of Disney’s new fantasy romantic comedy family film, “Enchanted,” rated PG, on Saturday, November 24. Show times are 2:00 and 7:30 p.m. Admission for this first-run film is $8 for adults, $5 for children under 12.

A percentage of profit will be donated to the American Red Cross of Greater New York (ARC/GNY) – Orange/Sullivan to support its life-saving programs.
