Local youth in the spotlight at Macy’s parade

PINE BUSH, NY — Eleven-year-old Taylor Rosenberger of Pine Bush will participate in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade for the third year in a row as part of Camp Broadway, a group of 400 children aged 10 through 16 who will lead off the parade. Also for the third year he will be one of a group of about 15 children who create the soundtrack to accompany the performing children.

For the first year, Taylor will also have a solo performance at the very beginning of the parade, which starts at 9:00 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day, and will be broadcast on NBC.

Taylor is the son of Brent and Kim Rosenberger of Pine Bush, the grandson of Kay and Carl Rosenberger of Hortonville, and the great-great grandson of Earle and Mae Poley of North Branch.
