‘Noises Off’

SOUTH FALLSBURG, NY — The Sullivan County Dramatic Workshop will present Michael Frayn’s fast-paced, furiously funny farce, “Noises Off,” in a run that premieres on Friday, October 19 at 8:00 p.m. at the Rivoli Theatre. The play follows the antics of a company of actors preparing their show, “Nothing On,” for its national tour. Mayhem ensues upstairs and downstairs, onstage and backstage.

Directed by Bunny Woloszczak of Hurleyville, the show features Albee Bockman and Jamee Bockman of Hurleyville, Tom DelFavero of Livingston Manor, Ellen Pavloff of Kerhonkson, Petra Santiago of South Fallsburg, Lori Schubeler of Hurleyville, Matthew Side of Mongaup Valley, Daniel Stein of Hurleyville and Harold Tighe of Swan Lake. The set design is by Jim Schmitt and Harold Tighe.

Performances will be on Friday and Saturday, October 19 and 20 and 26 and 27 at 8:00 p.m.; and Sunday, October 20 and 28 at 2:00 p.m. Tickets cost $15 for adults, $12 for seniors and students 16 and under. On the opening night only, those who cannot afford regular ticket prices may set their own price and pay what they can. Bring a can of sardines (or any canned fish) and get one free item from the concession stand. All canned fish will be donated to a local food pantry.
