Pets on parade

MATAMORAS, PA — Safe Haven, Inc. of Pike County and The Pike County Humane Society will hold their first Mutts and Meows Masquerade March from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 20. Registration is from 9:00 to 11:00 p.m. Dress your pet in costume and join us. All pets are welcome.

Step off is at 1st Street in Matamoras, and the parade ends at Airport Park. The route is one-quarter mile long, and the event will be held rain or shine.

Prizes will be awarded for best, scariest, funniest and cutest costumes, most unique pet, owner/pet look alike and more. Professional photos with your pet will be available at $10 per photo

The entry fee is $10 per pet. All proceeds will benefit Safe Haven (formerly Survivors’ Resources) and the Pike County Humane Society. Pre-Register by calling Safe Haven, Inc. of Pike County at 570/296-2827
