Stars come out for Liberty Free Theatre

KAUNEONGA LAKE, NY — Marcy Rylan and Tom Pelphrey, of “Guiding Light,” and Karen Young, whose film and television appearances include “Law and Order” and “The Sopranos,” will star in a reading of Paul Astin’s comedy “Ecuador” in a fundraising benefit for The Liberty Free Theatre at the Fat Lady Café on Thursday, October 25. The evening will start at 6:30 p.m., and will include a silent auction of art works by Robert Friedman, Kathy Jeffers, Helena Clare Pittman and Ted Waddell and a signed, first-edition collection of works by award-winning author Rilla Askew. Wine and hors d’oevres will be served and a cash bar is available. Tax-deductible tickets are $40.
