Local filmmakers tell tale of a local murder

SULLIVAN COUNTY, NY — In keeping with the Halloween season, filmmakers Ron Littke and Benita Abrams will present their new film, “Murder on the Stone Arch Bridge,” at the Tusten-Cochecton branch of the Western Sullivan Public Library on Friday, October 19 at 8:00 p.m. and at the Jeffersonville Library on Saturday, October 20 at 4:00 p.m.

“Murder on the Stone Arch Bridge” portrays the events leading up to the 1892 “hex” murder near Jeffersonville. The film uses local actors to tell the story of two families destroyed by superstition.
