PumpkinFest raises $1,361 for Roscoe flood relief

BARRYVILLE, NY — The fifth annual PumpkinFest brought people by the droves to The Spring House Commons on Route 97 on October 6. As leaves floated to the ground, attendees enjoyed live music, seasonal foods, arts and crafts, a pumpkin carving contest, a scarecrow contest, a pie-eating contest, a three-legged race, a pet parade, face painting, a pie toss, a pumpkin bake-off, costume contests, horse and buggy rides and more. The popular event was presented by the Greater Barryville Chamber of Commerce, which matched community donations in support of the Roscoe flood relief fund.
