Wrestling spectacular to come to Milford

MILFORD, PA — Northeast Wrestling’s fundraising wrestling spectacular, Autumn Ambush, will be held on Saturday, October 27 at 7:30 p.m., with benefits going to the Westfall Township Volunteer Fire Department. Featured at the event will be Kurt Angle, 1996 U.S. Olympic Gold Medalist in wrestling and current world champion; WWE Superstar Jerry “The King” Lawler, a 2004 Delaware Valley High School graduate; Shohola’s own “Dynamic Sensation,” Gus Harlacher; and a match featuring the mighty midgets.

Kurt Angle has wrestled with the greatest names in wrestling, including The Rock, Triple H, Stone Cold Steve Austin and Hulk Hogan. He will be joined by WWE Superstar Jerry “The King” Lawler. The former world champion and host of WWE’s Monday Night Raw, seen live nationwide on the USA network, is also famous for his confrontations with the late comedian Andy Kaufman.

Delaware Valley High School (DVHS) graduate Gus Harlacher makes his return home were it all started. Known as “The Dynamic Sensation,” Gus had the pleasure to wrestle in the very gymnasium where he participated as a student and former DVHS wrestler. Trained by the legendary Afa the Wild Samoan, he has competed up and down the East Coast and made an appearance for the WWE on a national Smackdown telecast. He now has the opportunity to compete in a Northeast Wrestling ring along with some of his idols and with his family and friends in attendance.

Tickets are now on sale and can be purchased by visiting Gallery of Sound, Westfall; 7th Street Coffee, Broad Street, Milford; Sign Here Sign Company, 58-60 Jersey Avenue, Port Jervis, NY; The Grill Restaurant, Matamoras; ALL FYE Music and Video Stores, Rock Fantasy, 73 W. Main Street, Middletown, NY; or S&T Auto, Rt. 739 in Dingmans Ferry. They can also be purchased at the door the night of the event, or online at northeastwrestling.com
