A day down on the farm

CLARYVILLE, NY — Frost Valley YMCA hosts an open house at its educational farm in Claryville on Sunday, October 14 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. This free fall-themed event will include live string-band music, seasonal refreshments (including cider donuts and hot cocoa), candle-making and soap-making activities and wool demonstrations. Guests will also get a firsthand experience viewing the many animals that reside at the Frost Valley Educational Farm.

The farm operates year round, and each summer hosts a farm camp for children interested in learning more about agricultural experiences. Farm products offered for sale will include maple syrup, eggs, wool fleece and pumpkins.
