Leaf peep while paddling down the river

DINGMANS FERRY, PA — A splendid array of autumn colors and an abundance of seasonal wildlife will be on display for canoeists during Kittatinny Canoes’ Fall Foliage tours on Saturday, October 13 and Saturday, October 21. Participants will meet at 9:00 a.m. at a designated Kittatinny River base and then be transported upstream to begin the autumn adventure. A river guide and naturalist will accompany the group to ensure participants see all there is to see.

Canoeists are advised to bring a lunch, plenty of beverages and have a change of clothing in their cars. Cameras and binoculars should be carried in waterproof containers. Kittatinny’s two campgrounds, River Beach Campsites in Milford, PA, and Kittatinny Campgrounds in Barryville, NY, will remain open through October.
