Taking in the trash

MILFORD, PA — Employees of Advanced Recovery Inc. (ARI) of Port Jervis, NY, load unwanted electronic equipment onto a truck at Pennstar Bank, where an electronic recycling event was held on September 8. The cleanup was sponsored by the Pike County Builders Association and Pike County Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with ARI, which repairs and resells, or disassembles and recycles the items. Similar opportunities to dispose of old electronic equipment such as monitors, printers, keyboards, VCRs, radios, fax machines, modems, telephones, televisions, stereo equipment and more are being scheduled in the near future. Items can also be taken to ARI’s facility at 41 Mechanic Street, Port Jervis, NY. A small fee is charged for equipment containing cathode ray tubes. Call 845/858-8809 for more information.
