Day for kids sponsored by Communities that Care

MONTICELLO, NY — The Communities that Care Coalition, in partnership with the newly formed Boys & Girls Club of Sullivan County, will sponsor the first annual Boys & Girls Club Day for Kids from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 15 at DeHoyos Park. It is designed to be a day set aside each year to celebrate and honor America’s children by spending meaningful time with them.

A free event, the day will include relay games, basketball, a double-dutch contest, arts and crafts, scheduled entertainment, music and a barbeque. Visitors driving to the event should park at the Monticello High School, where shuttle buses to and from the park will be provided.

Communities That Care Coalition is a diverse community group dedicated to lowering the risk factors for our youth by raising their protective factors and seeing to it that adults spend more meaningful time with children.
