Julie London tribute comes to Jeffersonville

JEFFERSONVILLE, NY — “Party of One,” a musical celebration of Julie London, will be presented at at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 30, Friday, August 31 and Saturday, September 1 at Samba, 4893 Main Street. A Brazilian tapas and wine reception is included in the price of admission.

The show will feature New York City actress and singer Paula Ewin in her musical tribute to the late, great Julie London, the sultry jazz singer who recorded over 35 albums in the ‘50s, ‘60s and ‘70s and who is best remembered for her legendary “Cry Me a River” and successful collaborations with her composer husband Bobby Troupe (“Route 66,” “Girl Talk”). Accompanied by Tom Zivkovich on bass and guitar and Michael Donovan on keyboards, Ewin engages the audience through songs and anecdotes and delivers a lively evening of musical gems and a walk down memory lane. The show has been performed in New York, Maryland and Rhode Island to critical acclaim.
