Coffee, tea and farming history
COCHECTON, NY The Cochecton Preservation Society will host one of its Coffee, Tea and History presentations, this one highlighting farming in the area, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 26 at the train station on Route 97. Several local farmers will participate in this event, including Doug Ackermann, dairy; Betty Baker, beef cattle; John Gorzynski, organic farming; Robin Solvang, alpacas and goats; Dick Schulman, poultry; and George Walter Sr., poultry.
The event is open to the public and there will be a question and answer period. Light refreshments will be served.
