Limited edition Port centennial prints available

PORT JERVIS, NY — As part of its centennial celebration, Port Jervis has printed limited-edition, fine-color, 11 by 17 inch prints suitable for framing, celebrating Port Jervis’ history. They are being sold for $10.

The painting was created by local artist Kim Pearce, who resides in Matamoras, PA. Pearce also created the centennial painting for Matamoras’ recent 100th anniversary celebration.

Only 250 prints have been made. Each is numbered and personally signed by the artist. Prints are being distributed from Port Jervis Mayor Gary Lopriore’s office on a first-come, first-served basis, and may be reserved by calling 845/858-4017. As of August 1, there were only 100 left.

Port Jervis’ 100th Birthday activities have been well underway throughout the year, including the Heritage Days event in which the original painting was officially presented to the mayor.
