Local artist’s work displayed in Binghamton

CALLICOON, NY — Jane Blake, a fabric artist who lives in Callicoon, NY, has two paintings on display in the Roberson Regional Art Exhibition in Binghamton, NY. Blake paints on silk with vivid, flowing colors that define forms that are floral and sometimes abstract. She is a member of the ARTery Gallery in Milford, PA, where her work is also on display.

The Roberson Regional Exhibit is located in the Museum and Science Center, 30 Front Street. The current exhibition was juried by Philip Pearlstein, a world-famous American painter. The exhibition will be available to the public until September 15 and is open Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m., and Friday from 12:00 noon to 9:00 p.m.
