Field day

Everyone’s a winner with Dr. Don

LIVINGSTON MANOR, NY - The 13th annual Dr. Don Games, a field day for kids, will be held on Sunday August 19 at 11:30 a.m. at the Livingston Manor Rotary Park. It is free to all kids ages four to 14. The event begins with a barbecue lunch and the opening ceremony will include the display of the actual 1996 Olympic torch. The games feature fun competition in several zany events where everyone is a winner. Participants are divided into four teams and everyone receives a team tee shirt with the Dr. Don Games logo. In case of rain, the games will be staged indoors in the pavilion in Rotary Park.

Anyone interested in performing in the opening ceremony should call e-mail d.simkin@in4web.com or call 845/439-4100 and leave a message.

The event is co-sponsored by the Livingston Manor Community Center, the Livingston Manor Rotary Club and Dr. Don Simkin.
