The stars will be out in Loch Sheldrake

LOCH SHELDRAKE, NY — Broadway Direct will present “Summer Lovin’: A Beach Bag of Fun in Song and Dance” at the Seelig Theatre at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 19.

The program will feature a veritable galaxy of Broadway stars including Sarah Rice, left ( “Sweeney Todd” and “The Fantasticks”), Michael Cone (“Rags,” “La Bohème”), Meg Bussert (“Camelot,” “Brigadoon” and “The Music Man”) and Terry Rakov (“Hello Dolly!” and “Zorba”). Also performing will be Glenn Seven Allen (“Light in the Piazza”), John Babcock (“Secret Garden”), Maureen Brennan (“Candide”), Cris Groenendaal ( “Phantom of the Opera” and “Sweeney Todd”) and many others. There will be even a few voices from the opera, including Robert Barefield and Metropolitan Opera star Leona Mitchell.
