Quilt camp to be held at PEEC

DINGMANS FERRY, PA — Pocono Environmental Education Center (PEEC) will host a Happy Scrappy Pocono Quilt Camp, led by Patti Shreiner and Carol Hill, from Sunday, August 12 through Friday, August 17. This annual quilting camp is suited to quilters of all levels.

A sewing machine in good working order is required for the week. Lodging rates for are $325 for PEEC members and $355 for non-members, and include Sunday- through Thursday-night lodging and all meals (Monday breakfast through Friday lunch) and program. Non-lodging rates are $175 for members and $205 for non-members, and include all meals and programming.

PEEC’s mission is to enhance environmental awareness, knowledge and appreciation through hands-on experience in a natural outdoor classroom. It is located near mile marker eight, within the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area.
