The force is in Narrowsburg
NARROWBURG, NY The Narrowsburg post office held a Star Wars event on June 26 from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. to mark the issuance of a line of new 41-cent postage stamps based on the characters of the classic science fiction film Star Wars, which opened in movie theaters in the United States in 1977.
On May 25, The United States Postal Service (USPS) released a set of Star Wars stamps, souvenir panes and Express Mail prepaid packs. The stamps and souvenir panes feature artwork by longtime Star Wars poster artist Drew Struzan.
The USPS said that the elfin character Yoda was the top pick among Americans who voted for which characters should be pictured on the stamps.
