Liberty library plans ‘Get a Clue’ events

LIBERTY, NY — Libraries all over Sullivan County are participating in a “Get a Clue @ the Library” program this summer, and Liberty’s kickoff event will be on Friday, June 29, at 10:00 a.m. Jan Berlin of “Everything Animals” will bring in her fuzzy critters for a morning of animal fun. There will be continuing “Get a Clue” sessions for grades one through three at 10:00 a.m. on Friday mornings through July 27. Each session will feature stories, crafts and more activities. Please register as soon as possible for any or all of these sessions by calling 845/292-6070.

For children aged two to five, there will be a “Get a Clue” Pajama Story Hour on Tuesday evenings at 6:30 p.m. from July 10 to August 7. There will be stories, poems, music, rhymes and crafts based on a different topic each week. Please register as soon as possible for any or all of the sessions by calling 845/292-6070.

There will be “Get a Clue” crafts and activities on Saturday mornings at 10:00 a.m. for elementary-school-age children through August 4.
