Hoehler to be second

‘Summer Slammer’

LIVINGSTON MANOR, NY — The second open mic session in the Hamish & Henry Booksellers Summer Slam series will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 1, 2007, featuring Richard Hoehler, an area writer, dramatist and performer. The MC at this, as at other Summer Slam events, will be memoirist and literary critic Deirdre Sinnott.

Hoehle is the author of three Off Broadway solo shows (“New Jersey/New York,” “Working Class,” and “Human Resources”), and his fiction has appeared in a variety of magazines and periodicals including Real Fiction, The Moody Street Review and New York Press. His award-winning short story, “Four Roses,” was published by Middle Jersey Writers. He is currently working on a memoir as well as a new theatre piece that will be debut this summer at the Theatre Workshop of Nantucket.

Hamish and Henry Booksellers, at 34B Main Street, is open every day between Memorial Day and Labor Day.
