The scene is a small southern town where Colonel and Christine Penmark live with their daughter, Rhoda. On the surface, she is sweet, charming, full of old-fashioned graces, loved by her parents and admired by all her elders. But Rhoda’s mother has an uneasy feeling about her. When one of Rhoda’s schoolmates mysteriously drowns at a picnic, Mrs. Penmark is alarmed; for the boy who was drowned had won the penmanship medal Rhoda coveted—and Rhoda was the last person seen with him.

“The Bad Seed” is directed by Bunny Woloszczak and features Linda Seninaria (Sackett Lake), Lori Scheubler (Callicoon), Ann Finneran (Hurleyville), Matthew Side (Mongaup Valley), Linda Taylor (Grahamsville), Rick Schaffman (Liberty), Ellen Pavloff (Kerhonkson), Lawrence Meyers (Liberty), John Neails (Monticello), Tom Delafino (Livingston Manor) and Johnathon Schlosser (South Fallsburg).
