WJFF to hold 10th annual Auction and Bazaar

JEFFERSONVILLE, NY — WJFF/ Radio Catskill (90.5FM) will hold its 20th annual auction and bazaar on Sunday, May 27 at the Jeffersonville Firehouse Hall on Main Street in Jeffersonville. Doors open at 11:30 a.m., and bidding begins at 12:30 p.m. This will be the 20th year that hundreds of bargain hunters have converged on a bounty of eclectic items including antiques, furniture, art deco collectibles, books, home accessories, objects d’art, small working appliances, toys and more. Admission costs $1, which allows a bidding number for those interested in the auction. Tables laden with yard-sale items are available for others. Luncheon treats will also be available.

The Auction and Bazaar is one of WJFF’s largest events of the year, raising funds from items donated by WJFF listeners and community members. It is known as much for its celebratory atmosphere and community spirit as for the bargains it offers. Many of WJFF’s on-air personalities will run the auction, bazaar tables and refreshment stand, and all the proceeds go to support community radio in the Catskills and Northeastern Pennsylvania.
