Bulldogs extend league record to 7-0 with win over Raiders

JEFFERSONVILLE, NY — Sullivan West’s Garrett Owen celebrated his 18th birthday by smacking three hits and driving in a run in the Bulldogs’ convincing league series opening win over the James I. O’Neill Raiders on May 6. The victory came on the heels of last week’s dramatic sweep of Liberty that featured a trio of come-from-behind thrillers .

Logan Grishaber allowed only one run heading into the final frame before O’Neill batters finally found their stroke. Brad Reimer came in and closed the door for the Bulldogs’ seventh league win against no defeats. The win brought Sullivan West’s overall record to 8-2.
